Flying Out of Phuket? How Our Airport-Day Dog Pickup Works

If you're flying out of Phuket, we can collect your small dog (up to 15 kg) from your home, hotel or a meeting point near the airport, look after them cage-free while you're away, and bring them home after you land. Pickup and drop-off happen between 09:00 and 18:00, with off-hours handovers possible for ฿50 per hour per dog. The pickup fee depends on your address and is quoted on LINE. Here's how a typical airport trip works.

Before you book your flight

If your dates are flexible, check our availability first — especially for December and January. Once your flights are confirmed, message us on LINE with:

  • Your departure and return dates and flight times
  • Your dog's name, breed, weight and age
  • A photo of your ID card or passport (for registration) and of the vaccination book, including tick/flea and deworming records
  • Your pickup address (a map pin is perfect) and drop-off address if different

We quote the pickup fee, and you pay the ฿500 refundable deposit per dog to secure the booking — spaces are limited and confirmed in order of deposit payment.

Choosing the pickup time

Travel days are busy, so we try to take the dog off your hands early. The options that usually work best:

Your flightSuggested pickup
Early morning (before 09:00)The afternoon before — your dog spends the night with us
Late morning or afternoonMorning of the flight, from home, a few hours before you leave
Evening or nightMorning or midday, so you can pack and leave calmly

Pickup before 09:00 or after 18:00 is possible for an extra hourly fee, but for early flights the night before is often easier for everyone.

Where we meet you

At home (usually the easiest)

We collect from your door — house, villa or condo lobby. It's the calmest option for your dog and means you head to the airport with only your luggage.

At your hotel

If you've been staying in a hotel with your dog, we meet you at the entrance or lobby. Please check that the hotel is fine with the handover.

Near the airport

When timing really doesn't allow a home pickup, we can agree a meeting point near Phuket International Airport on LINE. The airport area is about 35–45 minutes' drive from our hotel in the Phuket Town area, so we plan the time carefully.

The ride and settling in

  • The car is cooled before your dog gets in.
  • Your dog rides secured — never loose in the car.
  • One handler collects, drives and settles your dog in at the hotel.
  • Food, medication and a favourite blanket or toy come with them.
  • We message you on LINE when your dog has arrived — often before you've reached the gate.

While you're away

Your dog stays cage-free (no metal cages) in their own open wooden room inside the air-conditioned house, with play time alongside other small dogs, a play yard and someone there day and night. You get photo updates on LINE every day. If your return flight changes, just message us and we'll extend the stay if there's room.

Coming home

  1. Send us your arrival time when you know it.
  2. If you land during the day, we can drop your dog home that afternoon or evening (by 18:00).
  3. If you land late, your dog can stay one more night and come home the next morning — or we can arrange an off-hours drop-off.
  4. We return the refundable deposit on the day your dog comes home.

What to pack for your dog

  • Enough of your dog's usual food for the whole trip, plus a couple of days extra in case of delays
  • A few treats or the wet food they usually eat, in case stress puts them off their meals
  • Medication with written instructions
  • Vaccination book
  • Pee pads and belly bands/diapers for the whole trip — usually 2–3 a day (boys and dogs not reliably toilet-trained must wear one indoors; please put it on before pickup)
  • Harness, leash and ID tag
  • Optional: something that smells like home

A few tips for a calm send-off

  • Give a light meal a few hours before pickup if your dog gets carsick, and don't try new foods in the days before.
  • If your dog has diarrhoea on pickup day, tell us before we set off — we can't accept the stay in that case.
  • Take a short walk just before we arrive.
  • Pack your dog's bag the night before, so it isn't forgotten in the rush.
  • Keep the goodbye short and cheerful.
