Dog Boarding Prices in Phuket 2026–27: What to Expect

At Pear's Pawsh, boarding a small dog in Phuket costs ฿350 per day for dogs 1–4 kg, ฿400 for 4.1–10 kg and ฿450 for 10.1–15 kg. Over New Year (20 Dec 2026 – 20 Jan 2027) the rate is ฿500 per day for dogs up to 10 kg. Below is the full breakdown, plus what generally makes boarding prices in Phuket higher or lower.

Rates are per dog, per day, and we take daily, weekly and monthly stays (ask on LINE about long stays). Every stay includes an open wooden room (no metal cages) in a home-style space, air-conditioning 24/7, round-the-clock care, play-yard time and daily photo updates on LINE. For dogs between 10 and 15 kg over New Year, please ask on LINE.
Other costs to know about
- Refundable deposit: ฿500 per dog, not included in the boarding fee and returned on the day you collect your dog (not refunded if you cancel on the check-in day, or if the stay can't go ahead because your dog has diarrhoea).
- Rooms: dogs 1–4 kg stay in a Mini room (90 × 90 cm); dogs 4.1–15 kg in a Premium room (90 × 180 cm). Upgrading a Mini to Premium is +฿50 per day.
- Siblings sharing a room: each dog gets ฿50 off per day.
- Bath & grooming trip: ฿100 per trip — we take your dog out to be bathed and groomed. We don't groom in-house.
- Vet visit: ฿150 per trip — we take your dog to the vet if needed (vet fees are paid separately).
- Medication: ฿50 per day — for giving your dog their prescribed medicine.
- Belly bands / diapers: ฿20 per piece, only if you didn't bring your own (boys and dogs not reliably toilet-trained wear one indoors).
- Off-hours check-in or check-out: +฿50 per hour per dog outside 09:00–18:00.
- Pickup and drop-off: quoted on LINE based on your address — anywhere in Phuket.
- Food and supplies: bring your dog's own food, pee pads and belly bands for the whole stay. Familiar food keeps their stomach settled, and raw/BARF diets are welcome (we have a fridge).

What makes dog boarding prices in Phuket vary
Prices across the island differ a lot, and it helps to know why so you compare like with like rather than just the daily number.
Type of space
Kennel-style places, cage-free homes and boutique pet resorts all run differently. Boutique hotels with private suites, pools or webcams often charge more. Places that keep dogs in runs most of the day may charge less, but the experience is different.
Dog size
Most places price by weight or size, because bigger dogs need more space and food. Small-dog specialists like us price for small dogs only.
What's included
Check whether air-conditioning, overnight supervision, walks or play time, photo updates and feeding are included or charged extra. A low daily price can grow quickly with add-ons.
Season
December and January are the busiest months in Phuket, and many places charge a holiday rate and need early booking. Our New Year season runs 20 Dec 2026 – 20 Jan 2027 and is advance-booking only — we do not take last-minute bookings in that period.
Transport
Some boarding places expect you to drive your dog in yourself. Phuket is a long island, so pickup can save you hours. We quote pickup separately, so you only pay for it if you use it.
How to compare quotes fairly
- Compare the total for your dates, including deposit, extras and transport.
- Ask how many hours a day your dog spends in a crate, run or pen, and how often they come out to play.
- Ask what size the largest dog in the group could be.
- Ask whether someone stays overnight.
- Check the cancellation and deposit rules before you pay.
